The "identity card" of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has been leaked as the smartphone has won the much-needed and important TENAA certification, China's electronic products classification body.

With model number SM-S9180, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch display with QHD+ resolution (3,088×1,440 pixels). Expected connectivity is both 4G LTE and 5G, while the octa-core processor has a CPU divided into three clusters: one cluster running at 3.36 GHz and the other two running at 2.8 GHz and 2 GHz.

Although some rumors had indicated that the processor designed for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra would be precisely the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in AC version, the smartphone's datasheet features what we might call a special version that equals Qualcomm' s latest chipset in speed.

As for RAM speed and storage space, the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes in different sizes: 8GB and 12GB for RAM, and 256GB, 512GB and 1TB for internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra's cameras could leave us speechless

The photo compartment could revolutionize the user experience. In addition to a 12MP selfie camera, the smartphone features outstanding rear cameras: the 200 MP main one appears to include Samsung's new ISOCELL HP2 sensor; followed by a 12 MP ultrawide; a 10 MP 3X telephoto; and a 10 MP telephoto with 10X optical zoom.

As for the ISOCELL HP2, its uniqueness lies in being a 1/13-inch sensor with f/1.7 aperture 0.6μm pixels. In addition, Tetra2Pixel technology (or 16-in-1 Pixel Binning), makes the camera compartment capable of taking 50 MP photos by combining four individual pixels into a larger one, whileAdvanced Deep Trench Isolation (DTI) enables greater light absorption.

However, there appears in the documents what to many might appear to be an error: the TENAA certification states that the smartphone has 108+10+12+12 MP telephoto lenses.

This is actually not a mistake as Samsung performs, probably for consistency, upscaling of images from its sensors.

The news certainly didn't end there. Samsung has also thought about making the video experience unforgettable! Compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which supports 8K video at 24 fps, the Galaxy S23 Ultra gets to shoot 8K footage at 30 fps, thanks to an Ultra Stabilization that makes shooting smoother, especially on the go.

Biometric recognition, battery and size

Thanks to the other information in the document, we know that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port, a proximity sensor, and a light sensor. Biometric authentication is made possible by a fingerprint reader located under the screen and facial recognition.

Last but not least, the battery and size of the smartphone. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 4,855 mAh battery, while the dimensions are as follows: 163.4×78.1×8.9 mm for 233 grams in weight.
