Microsoft's new Surface Laptop Go 2

Surface Laptop Go 2 is an updated version of the Surface Laptop Go from 2020. It is one of the most affordable options in the Surface collection created to challenge Chromebooks.

The new version has an updated processor (eleventh-generation quad-core Intel Core i5-1135G7) and an improved front-facing camera, although the resolution (720p) remains the same, while the screen size remains 12.4 inches. The laptop can have 4 or 8 gigabytes of RAM (LPDDR4x) depending on the variant and 128 or 256 gigabytes of storage memory, along with Intel Iris X graphics.

The display is a 12.4-inch PixelSense with a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2. The claimed battery life is 13.5 hours, it is equipped with Windows 11 Home software and there is also a fingerprint reader integrated in the power button.

The business version will be available from 7 June 2022 while the consumer version from 19 July 2022.
