Dell, news coming for Latitude business laptop line
Dell has decided to freshen up its Latitude laptop range, which now includes luxury enterprise-class models, including 2-in-1 hybrids with rotating touch screens. Dell also unveiled new mobile workstations.
Dell Latitude 5330
The Dell Latitude 5330 is a 13.3″ model that will be available in both classic and hybrid 2-in-1 versions with a 360-degree rotatable touchscreen. Inside is an Intel Core i7 processor from the U15 line that supports vPro technology as befits a business laptop. Configurations include up to 32 GB RAM, but only integrated graphics.

The display is only available in Full HD resolution, but panels vary, up to WVA with full sRGB colour gamut, 400 cd/m² brightness and blue light reduction technology. Inside is an NVMe drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB, there is a fingerprint scanner, an IR camera, LED backlighting and a high-quality aluminium case.
The Dell Latitude 5430 and 5530 are only available in the classic format, but feature more powerful hardware. Namely, U and P processors of Intel's Alder Lake generation, configured for TDPs from 15 to 28 watts. Integrated Iris Xe graphics are also offered here, while the display diagonal is larger, namely 14″ and 15.6″. The panel resolution is 1,366 x 768 or 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
Dell offers a wide range of configurations. Prices start at $1,419 and sales of the laptops began in April.
Dell Latitude 7000
The 7000 line is technically based on a similar platform, but is available in screen sizes from 13.3″ to 15.6″, and there is a choice of a 2-in-1 hybrid with a rotating touch display. Inside, U- and P-generation Intel Alder Lake processors are used, memory capacity is up to 32 GB, and NVMe SSDs are available up to 1 GB.

The new Latitude 7000 laptops will also be available in April starting at $1,899.The Dell Latitude 7330 Ultralight deserves special mention as it weighs less than 1 kg, making it one of the thinnest and lightest 13.3″ laptops with a 16:9 display.
Dell Latitude 9430
Price-wise, the Dell Latitude 9430 is considerably more expensive, with a cost starting at $2,245 for the basic model. Reason? This is the thinnest 14-inch business laptop with a 16:10 display. The thickness is only 8.42-13.91 mm and the weight is between 1.27 and 1.4 kg, depending on the configuration. The laptop occupies an area of 310.6 x 215.2 mm when placed on the desk.

The display has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a brightness of 500 cd/m². A hybrid 2-in-1 option is also offered, but the standard laptop is limited to 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. Both configurations offer 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut. Inside is a 12th generation Core i7 processor, coupled with integrated Iris Xe graphics. LPDDR5 memory capacity is up to 32 GB, while storage capacity is available via high-speed NVMe SSDs of various sizes.
The new Dell Latitude 9430 laptops can be optionally equipped with an LTE modem, while WiFi 6E is standard. Ports include two Thunderbolt 4 and one standard USB, as well as a full-size HDMI 2.0 output and a microSD card slot.
